site has been designed to assist with the teaching and learning of the
Virginia State Computer/Technology Standards of Learning to be mastered
by the end of grade five. The technology terms and quizzes included on
these pages incorporate these requirements with additional information
for the more advanced, technology-minded student.
Although the Resources page
is divided into sections labeled "Mostly for Students" and "Especially
for Teachers," both students and teachers are invited and encouraged to
explore all of the links in both sections. Students are especially
encouraged to view the spreadsheet and database PowerPoint presentations
listed in the teacher resources.
