Word Processor 


Definition:

A word processor is software that allows the creation of letters, papers, and other documents.  Many have advanced features such as "mail-merge" and "spelling/grammar checks."



Explanation:

Word processors have many writing tools included in their programs.  They allow you to change or edit your work.  They also have the ability to check your spelling and grammar.  Word processors have all the tools necessary to create a document.  Above is a picture of some of the bars you will see on a word processing program.
