Bold/Italics/Underline 


Definition:

"Bold," "Italics," and "Underline" are three ways to format text appearance. 



Explanation:

To make text bold means to make it appear darker and heavier like the "B" above.  Text that is show in italics has a slanted appearance like the "I" above.  To underline text means to place a line under the desired words.  The picture above shows three format buttons that are found on a word processing toolbar.  Clicking on the desired letter (B, I, or U) will make text appear in that format. To end the format, simply click the letter again.
