Justify 
 (Left, Right, Full, Center) 


Definition:

Justify describes how your words, sentences, and paragraphs are placed along the margins of the page.


Explanation:

Left justification is most common.  Words are lined up along the left side of the page as shown by the lines on the first square above.  Centering means that each line of text will placed in the middle of the page between the margins.  This is shown by the lines in the second square.  Right justification means your text will line up along the right side of the page.  You can see this in square three.  Full justification means your text will be lined up evenly on both sides of the page.  There are often extra spaces between words to make this possible.  A sample of full justification can be seen in the last square above.  The squares are buttons on a word processing toolbar.  Clicking on a box will make your text appear as the lines in the box do.
