POETRY PROJECT
Your poetry project shall be worth 250 points and consist of a poetry booklet and reading a poem of your choice to the class. Your poetry booklet will consist of a cover, a title page, a table of contents, your checklist, and fourteen (14) original poems, each with an illustration. You will be told what kind of poems to write, but you may arrange them in any order you choose in your poetry booklet. (Please note: not all of your poems should be centered around the same topic! Vary your topics!)
This checklist will be the last two pages of your poetry booklet. You will check off each item, under the S column for student, as you complete it for your booklet. As I evaluate your booklet, I will list the points earned for each item under the T column.
